Regional workshops

There is still space at the two regional half day workshops which are scheduled in Leeds and Lancashire later this month.

The workshops are designed specifically for library services who have not yet subscribed to smartsm, but would like to discover more. Each will focus on a number of topical areas, looking at how the adoption of EBSM/smartsm can save time, money and improve stock performance. This will provide a unique insight into how this very powerful solution will:

  • Drive stock performance improvements, savings and efficiency gains across your library service.
  • Help you to make the most your book fund through effective, evidence based stock selection and eliminate wastage from the procurement process.
  • Improve the performance of your current stock and make this work as hard as possible.
  • Free up time from routine stock management processes, which can be shifted to other areas of the library.
  • Support promotional and reader development activities across your service.

Each of the following workshops will include a buffet lunch and be hosted by an existing smartsm client, which will provide an opportunity to discuss their adoption of EBSM/smartsm and usage of this in a live environment.

Leeds - 17th September 2010

Lancashire - 21st September 2010
