May has been another very busy month with a number of new UK and International customers signing up for smartsm and also more customers going LIVE with the product.
The smartsm team is delighted to announce that we have recently signed a consortium deal with North West Libraries. Lancashire, Rochdale and Wirral already had subscribed to smartsm and eight more authorities have joined them from April 2010: Bolton, Cheshire East, Cheshire West & Chester, Manchester, Oldham, Salford, Sefton and Stockport.
Signing of the contract represents the culmination of many months hard work by both parties and we very much look forward to working closely with North West Libraries in the future.
Our international work has gathered more pace throughout May, collectionHQ continues to be extremely well received in North America and we are delighted to welcome more new customers on board within weeks of our launch.
Thank you to everyone who attended our Roadshow event in Bristol. We hope that you have all enjoyed what has turned out to be one of the most informative and well attended seminar series of recent years and we look forward to the remaining event in Warwick on the 9th June.
Thanks also to those of you who took the time to attend our workshop "Making the most of your book fund" at the 2010 Welsh Libraries, Archives and Museums Conference in Llandrindod Wells in May. We hope that the session was useful and informative.
